NICFD 2016: 1ST INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON NON-IDEAL COMPRESSIBLE-FLUID DYNAMICS FOR PROPULSION & POWER
Welcome

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 1st International Seminar on Non-Ideal Compressible-Fluid Dynamics for Propulsion & Power, which will be held on the 20th and 21st of October 2016 in Varenna, Italy.

NICFD 2016 is intended to promote the exchange of scientific information, to encourage and consolidate the interaction between researchers and professionals, with a special emphasis on the progress in research, development, and applications of the topics related to the field of propulsion and power.

The themes range from the theoretical foundations to advanced numerical and experimental practices and applied technologies. The conference provides an exciting opportunity to share, learn and discuss the latest insights, while experiencing the unique atmosphere of Lake Como.

The conference is organised by Prof. Alberto Guardone (CREA Lab, Politecnico di Milano), Prof. Piero Colonna (Propulsion & Power, TUDelft) and Dr. Andrew Wheeler (Whittle Laboratory, Cambridge University).

The conference is supported by European Research Council under ERC Consolidator Grant N. 617603, NSHOCK Project.
